Day 1:    Bagdogra – Phuentsholing (170km/ 4hrs)

Arrival At Bagdogra Airport Request to report Himani Travels Local Representative near Main Exit Gate then he will take you and Proceed to Phuentsholing check in your hotel. Evening time rest and personal activities.

Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Day 2:    Phuentsholing To Thimphu (176Km/6hrs)

After breakfast Proceed to the Immigration Counter. Complete Immigration. Formalities transfer to Thimphu. Check in Your Hotel,Rest of the day Free for Leisure

Day 3:       Thimphu Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed to Thimphu Local Sightseeing as Below,

BBS Tower – You can take a eye soothing view of the entire Thimphu valley, Visit SAARC Building (Outside View).

Kuensel Phodrang – World largest sitting Buddha bronze statue, Folk heritage museum.

Takin preservation – National animal of Bhutan preservation centre, Buddhist Art Gallery, zorig Chusum School of 13th Traditional Art and Craft.

National Library & Handicrafts Market– where you can enjoy your shopping near Clock tower Square.

Trashichhodzong – lighting evening view (the fortress, main house of the monastery body and the administration of the country)

Day 4:       Thimphu To Punakha (77Km/3hrs)

After breakfast Proceed to Punakha En-route visit Dochu La A mountain pass where on a clear day you can get spectacular views of the Himalayas. Enjoy lunch at Druk Wangyel Cafe (at own cost). After lunch visit as below Chimi Lhakhang (optional as need walking to reach) – also known as Chime Lhakhang or Monastery or temple, is a Buddhist monastery in Punakha District, Bhutan Suspension bridge – the most beautiful dzong in Bhutan Punakha Dzong – longest hanging bridge in Bhutan

Day 5:       Punakha To Paro (140Km/ 5hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Paro. and visit as for sightseeing as below: Rinpung Dzong – which has a long and fascinating history. Ta Dzong – National Museum KyichuLakhang – an important Himalayan Buddhist temple. Evening Lesuire and.

Day 6:       Paro To Phuentsholing (200Km/7hrs)

  • Bhutan Immigration remains closed on Saturday, Sunday and Govt Holidays
  • Restricted Area Permit for Punakha / Wangdue:
  • Restricted Area Permit is required to visit Punakha / Wangdue from Home Ministry of Bhutan
  • Please bring 02 passport size photographs and Voter ID card or Passport of each person including child. This special permit is given only after guest has entered Thimphu. Permit are not issued on Saturday and Sunday and Govt Holidays.
  • Documents required for Bhutan Immigration is Voter id/Passport along with 2 copies of passport photograph
  • Children below 18 years can carry school id/ Aadhar Card along with birth Certificate
  • Bhutan Immigration office remains opened from 8:30 A.M to 3:30 P.M From Monday to Friday
  • Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
  • A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
  • For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
  • The above mentioned hotels will be confirmed as per the room availability. Otherwise similar category hotel will be provided

No refund is possible in case of cancellation after the tour starts.

No refund is possible if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, civil/political disturbance, or anything beyond human control. But in such cases there will be full cooperation from the entire Northeast Tour team to make an alternate arrangement.

Terms & Condition

  • There will be an additional charge for any point or sightseeing which is not there in Itinerary.
  • If you need any changes in the itinerary the please do notify us before we finalize the Deal.
  • We do not give you an assurance the same vehicle and the driver will be there with you for the entire trip
  • Driver details will be provided on day prior this is also applicable whenever we change the driver to meet you requirements
  • Once the Deal is finalized, to confirm an advanced payment needs to be made which is 50% In Advance for conformation and other 50% Before 25 Days Of Journey Full Payment
  • 25,000/- Token Will Non-Refundable

Special Note

Phuentsholing permit office remains closed on Saturday, Sunday and on Public holidays. So we need the valid passport copies for all the travellers for advance route permit. For advance permit guide and Bhutan vehicle are mandatory.
