DAY 1: Destination – Leh (2 Nights)

Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel.Full day of complete rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 35 00 mtrs)

DAY 2:  Leh Loacal Sighteeing

After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum

DAY 3:  Leh – Lamayuru – Uleytoko

In the morning drive down the Indus Valley on a tour of the Lamayuru (approx. 130 kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ features. After sightseeing and lunch here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 kms.) and check into a fixed camp / resort for

DAY 4: Uleytoko  – Leh

After breakfast drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame.

DAY 5: Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh

Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening.

Day 06: Leh 

Free day at Leh for rest. In the afternoon visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace & the markets.

DAY 7: Leh – Nubra

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for

DAY 8: Nubra Valley – Leh

In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening.

DAY 9: Departure from Leh

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home

No refund is possible in case of cancellation after the tour starts.

No refund is possible if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, civil/political disturbance, or anything beyond human control. But in such cases there will be full cooperation from the entire Northeast Tour team to make an alternate arrangement.

Terms & Condition

  • Bike should be in good condition to take this tour (For Passenger without Bike)
  • Through servicing of the bike should be done before start of tour.
  • Motorcycle driving license & bike documents should be legal and valid.
  • Helmet: Compulsory for both, biker / pillion rider.
  • Participants should be medically fit to undertake this tour.
  • Anyone suffering from breathing problem, asthma, heart problem or any major medical problem should avoid this tour.
  • On Expedition riders will be required to drive a stretch of 250 km. without fuelling facility. They have to carry additional fuel & fuel drums along with them.
  • No last moment cancellation will be accepted.
  • Changes and alterations of single points in our travel conditions which are necessary during our tour are agreed to as long as they don’t change the style of the tour significant.
  • Organizers reserve the right to adjust the route slightly before the start of the tour.
  • If the participant is not able to complete the tour or to consume benefits included in the price of the tour, for reasons neither caused by him nor the organizers, or should he not be able to complete the tour, he / she has no right to claim a refund.
  • Damage of bike on tour should be borne by biker
